Yasumicon is hosted this year at Florida International University's Graham Center and Library Auditorium.
Driving Directions
- From I-95
Take SR-836 West to 107th South Bound (toll)
Follow 107th ave South until 17th St.
FIU will be on your right
- From the Florida Turnpike:
Follow the Florida Turnpike to the Tamiami Trail exit (SW 8th Street)
Take the SW 8th Street EAST exit
Follow SW 8th Street, FIU will appear on the right before SW 107th Avenue

Volunteering for Yasumicon is a great way to get hands on training on conventions and how they work. Perhaps you come with some experience in a certain area. That's even better! Yasumicon staffers are always looking to have reliable help. Be sure to get in contact with the YPC for placement and benefits!
Convention Rules
Rules, rules, rules. They're here to create a safe enviroments for all of our visitors.
- No guns of any type, even if they have orange tips, made of plastic, ect…
- No METAL blades. If you are found with a metal blade, you will be kicked off the campus and the convention. No exceptions. However wooden, plastic, non metal blades will be allowed. Random weapon checks will be enforced.
- If you purchase a weapon from a dealer as soon as you leave the vendor’s room it must be boxed and removed from campus.
- Please use common sense for this convention is on school grounds.
- If an item or behavior is something that the police will stop you for carrying or doing in the middle of the street, don’t bring it.
- We reserve the right to change and update rules these as necessary.
