Shoplifters

Hey Everybody!

Thanks to everyone who dropped by the Wonderland booth at Yasumicon (it was a lot of fun playing "spot our hat" with my partner all weekend). We had a great time at the con and especially enjoyed the Maid's Cafe (pretty darn good food and nice young ladies), but we did have some trouble with shoplifters. Fortunately, security really helped us out finding one of our hats and my partner took it upon herself to run down another thief on Sunday just before we left the con.

I'd just like to let the two perpatrators know that they are the kind of kids who give all teens and preteens a bad rep. Aside from the fact that they were obviously too lazy to either work for the money to buy our hats or too lazy to learn to make some themselves, it also takes a special kind of stupid to wear a hat that you stole AT THE CONVENTION! We make everything BY HAND, did they think we weren't going to notice? Well, the whole thing really upset my sister and she spent most of Saturday and all of Sunday perched like a hawk on a chair across from our booth. I've spent a lot of time trying to get her to warm up the customer relations part of this and these two lazy low-lifes have dropped me right back in square one.

For all the other great con-goers, we really appreciate both your business and your just droppin' by to chat, show of your BJDs, or let us poke at your costumes just for fun. To the idiot shoplifters out there, I have a photographic memory, kiddo. Be on the look-out for someone snapping your picture next time you visit a con because once I have you on film, I will be sure to circulate it to all the vendors, other artists, and security.
